National Anti-racism in Medicine Curriculum Coalition
Collaboration between educators, scholars, and researchers working together to advance anti-racism, social justice, and health equity in medical curriculum
We are committed to making anti-racism a core part of medical training, so the next generation of physicians and scientists have the critical skills, knowledge, and attitudes to bring about meaningful social change. We advocate for anti-racism competencies to be a salient and integrated aspect of medical training. We develop high-quality educational resources to make essential concepts in anti-racism accessible and clinically relevant. We utilize a collaborative approach with a peer-review process for generating educational material. Content is grounded in adult learning principles such as: autonomy, self-direction, relevance, and practicality.
